Champittet’s Manécanterie (School Choir)
Our School Choir offers young students and teenagers the opportunity to discover the joys of singing together.It welcomes mostly Collège Champittet students but also is open to outside students.
In addition to liturgical and religious music, the children realise the beauty of five centuries of sacred music. Each year, the focus is on one important work such as Bruckner’s Mass, Mozart’s Mass and Bach’s Cantate, performed either during church celebrations or in concert.
Particular attention is given to training the voices of the Young Singers.
The School Choir is inspired by the long tradition of children choirs singing liturgy and sacred music.
