Counseling and mediation

Collège Champittet offers school mediation service to any student who needs help resolving problems of any kind (relationships, family, school…).

As a first step, we attempt to assist the student providing him/ her with the appropriate tools necessary to help resolve the problem. If that first step proves unsuccessful, and a professional medical opinion is necessary, we re-orient the student and his/her family towards the suitable socio-medical services.

Our school mediation service is committed to complete discretion. However, when a student comes to our service on a regular basis, we contact his/her parents with the student’s agreement. No decision regarding a student’s re-orientation is taken without parental consent.

This service is first and foremost at students’ disposal but parents can also contact us if they wish.

Our qualified school psychologist is also available for students, who can make an appointment with her directly if they feel the need.
